What ages are the trips appropriate for?
The Atuel River and Grande River are appropriate for children ten years old and up. We require our guests to be at least 18 years old for our Diamante River trips. We do not have an upper age limit, as we believe everyone should get the chance to experience the adventure of white water rafting.
What do I need to bring?
You will need a bathing suit or shorts to wear under the wetsuit, and that's it. We provide all of the other equipment you will need for your trip, including wet suits, paddle jackets, booties, personal flotation devices, helmets, and paddles.
Are there group discounts?
You bet. Give us a call for information about discounts.
Is there lodging nearby?
Yes there is. There are several bed and breakfasts and camping available within a very short distance, and the nearby town of San Rafael, Mendoza offers a wide variety of possibilities for lodging.
How many people are in a raft?
Each raft will have one guide and anywhere from two to six guests. We use different size rafts for different groups and different rivers, so we always have a raft that will work for your size group. If you have more than six in your group, we take more rafts.
Do we have to paddle?
Well, we sure hope you do. All of our rafts are guided paddle rafts, where all of the guests participate in paddling the raft down the river. When you are in a whitewater kayak, you will definitely need to paddle!
How do we get to the river?
On all of our whitewater rafting trips and kayak instruction, our guests are transported from our ofice, to the river they will be white water rafting or kayaking on and back in a Exoticandes Rafting and Kayaking shuttle vehicle.
