'Atuel extremo'

ABOUT THE RIVER

A rafting on the Atuel River is one of the shortest and most beautiful expeditions in rafting in Argentina. Its waters descend from the Atuel lake through glaciers, forming II, III, and IV class rapids. Through the entire excursion is possible to see foxes, condors, otters, and ducks. The Atuel River is also connected to the Diamante River.

ITINERARY

We’ll leave to the El Sosneado lake (2,000 meters).It is 4 hours in the south from San Rafael, after having a delicious breakfast, we’ll set up our equipment. Here we will rafting for about three hours in class III and IV rapids until to reach the take out called ‘monolito militar’ where we will have lunch. Here there is transport that is waiting to take us back.
